OPUS - Access and Impact
OPUS is a service of the Governors State University Library. OPUS publishes scholarly and creative works produced by the University, as well as materials of significance to the history of the University and the region.
The purpose of OPUS is to dissiminate the research and scholarship of faculty, staff, and students globally in a free, Open Access format, and to collect and preserve scholarly and historical materials of significance to the university and region for the use of future generations.
In June 2015, OPUS reaches its 1st year anniversary. Some of the highlights of the first year are summarized in a report, "OPUS – Open Portal to University Scholarship: Overview of Theses and Capstone Series" posted at http://opus.govst.edu/faculty/28/
