‘The Faculty Authors and Sponsored Grant Recipients Reception last Wednesday was an opportunity for us to thank and acknowledge the faculty for their scholarly efforts throughout the past year,” said Ann Marie Nagel, President of the GSU Friends of the Library.
Over thirty-five members of the faculty and administration were on hand to hear a few words from President Maimon, Provost Bordelon and others who thanked members of the faculty for their research, publication, and other scholarly efforts.
‘We in the library have always enjoyed partnering with the Friends of the Library to honor faculty at our annual Authors Reception,” said Lydia Morrow Ruetten, Dean of the GSU Library. “This year we were so pleased to also honor our Sponsored Grant Recipients, and look forward to next year’s reception. We have already begun to make plans!” she said.
