Mission Statement
The mission of The Friends of the GSU Library is to bring together those who share a love of knowledge and a desire to promote the role of the library in society. Friends provide support for resources and services that benefit learners in the univeristy and the community.

Friends of the GSU Library
The Friends will meet the second Monday of the month in the Library Administrative Conference Room from noon - 1:00 p.m. Changes of dates and times will be posted in advance.

Membership
Students can join the Friends of the GSU Library for as little as $5 per year.
Membership in Friends of the GSU Library is easy & has its privileges:
- Use of the GSU library with circulation privileges
- on-campus access to a variety of electronic databases
- Members only book sale preview
- Special invitations to programs and events throughout the year
- Special recognition for members of the Richard J. Vorwerk Society
To Join, please go to the GSU Foundation website and click on “donate online” and select “Friends of the Library” under “Other Giving Options.”
